Biography:
Born in Pearl Harbor, Hawaii on October 17th, 1989 to a Swedish-American father, Henrik (born May 10th, 1959), serving in the military and a Japanese-American mother, Rika (born July 8th, 1966). She has one older brother, Arlan, born two years before her who enlisted with the Marines and was killed in action in 2014. She also has one younger sister, Karina, who is currently in her freshman year of college (as of when this was written in 2017). She lived the first two years of her life in Hawaii until her father got discharged from the Marine Corps and moved to the outskirts of Washington D.C where she lived until she graduated High School.

Her childhood for the most part was pretty uneventful where the only highlight of her youth was when she got into a fight with her father about going to a party with her friends. Later that night the police raided the party and some arrests were made for drugs and other illegal activities. Despite the fact that she did not go to the party her father never let her hear the end of it.

It was due to her father constantly telling her 'I told you so' that she came to be irritable with him and after graduation she enlisted in the Army. After training to become a Combat Medic she did a couple tours of duty in the 10th Mountain Division's 3rd Brigade, with the rank of E-5 (Sergeant), in Afghanistan. After 4 years of service she decided not to re-enlist feeling that she did enough for her country and wanted to return to civilian life.

Currently Erika has been working as an EMT in Shiloh County for over almost two years now. In September of 2014 she met and started dating a construction worker named Martin Kostelnik. In late June of 2015 she took up Martin's offer and decided to move in with him at his house. In February 2017, Erika gave birth to her first child a daughter whom the couple named Eliska.
