Biography: 

Katherine was born into rather well off family enjoying the small town life of Kimberly where her parents were both members of the local volunteer fire department, her dad works for a heavy rescue and recovery company where he is higher up in management spending a lot of time at accidents and helping people out when they break down. Her mother worked as a teacher mainly teaching middle school children for most of her career. Katherine grew up around the firehouse, her interest in becoming a firefighter started from a very young age. As she got older her dad would even take her along on the tow truck and even letting her help as she got into high school. She also joined a junior firefighter program to get a boost of training and be able to get a little bit of experience on the job before graduating high school. Once she graduated high school she immediately set out to join a full time paid department and ended up joining Shiloh County Fire Department and working her way up to Lieutenant.
