  1. I grab the jump bag and C collar bag. "Ewan where do you need me?" I hear Pruett ask. What the fuck was his first name now? I forget. "Let's start some assessments, and get these dumbfucks away from that power pole that got hit." I say. "I'll take the headass Goldilocks looking lady if you want to take the discount Keanu Reeves looking dude."
  2. The call is only a few blocks from the station, I manage to pull out before the engine and gun kt. we round the block onto Bay Street in no time and pull up. "Squad 1 is on scene is on scene. Two vehicles in the intersection, heavy damage, appears everyone is out of the car, also it's not at the museum, it is in the intersection of Bay and north 14th." I say. I look over and see some cop standing around with a crowbar and some flares. "What in the fuck?" I mutter under my breath. As soon as I get my traffic vest on a large pool of fuel and leaking fluids sparks and ignites, engulfing the underside of both vehicles in an instant. "Great." I say to myself. I can hear the Q winding down from the engine, so I don't bother with getting the rest of my shit on. "Dispatch, update both vehicles are on fire."
  3. "Alright, alright fuckin chill!" The suspect yells as I put the cuffs on him. I take off the perp's ski mask and start to do a pat down. Tucked into the suspect's waist band is a Hi-point C9, I take it and secure the weapon, not finding anything other weapons during the search, but we'll have to turn out his pockets.
  4. I hear the tones go off and sigh. I can't find my job shirt so I throw on our union hoodie and make my way to the Squad. I start it up and clambor in. "Squad 1 responding."
  5. I hear the roar of a Duramax as it accelerates down Lyons. The person running turns their head to peer at Blackburn's ride and manages to lose his footing falling on his face. "FREEZE! DON'T FUCKING MOVE!" I yell catching up to him, having to catch my breath. "PUT YOUR FUCKING HANDS OUT TO YOUR SIDE." I say as I loosen the strap on my rifle and hold him at gunpoint. "211 has one at gunpoint." I say into my mic, still catching my breath.
  6. I pop over another fence. I'm just starting to break a sweat. O'Reilly is still behind me. We pop over the final fence. "206, 211, this is 200, advise location of suspect, I'm coming to you in 200." Blackburn says over the radio. "This is 211. We're now northbound on Lyons." I say in between breaths. I've closed the gap to 70 feet or so. "Stop fucking running! Sheriff's deputy!" I yell again to no avail.
  7. I shrug at O'reilly. As we go through the gate I hear a banging noise. I round the corner of the house and see a figure. I spot the figure with the light on my rifle. "SHEIRFF DEPUTY! FREEZE!" I yell. The figure freezes for a moment and then immediately starts running, bolting over the fence with ease . I don't waste a second and run after him. "211 foot pursuit. Male subject running west through the backyards-" I take a moment to clamp down on my rifle sling as I hop the fence. The guy is already making his way over the next fence. "Subject is male, camo pants, black hoodie, black mask, white shoes." I say as I sprint across the yard, hoping that O'reilly is keeping up with me.
  8. O'Reilly, Mae, go check out the back of the house.' "Yessir LT." I say testing to make sure the light on my rifle is working. The houses are separated by fences, the house in question has a privacy fence, with the neighbors having a chain link fence. I make my way towards the side gate with O'reilly taking rear cover. The gate lock has been removed and the gate opened. I peer around the corner and see that the phone hookup to the house has been sliced. "Who the fuck still has a home phone?" I whisper to myself. I still haven't gone into the backyard yet, I'm still waiting on O'reilly.
  9. As I near the address I hit the release timer on my gun rack and unbuckle my seatbelt. I'm only a few blocks out when I hear the mental health team mark on scene. I roll my eyes. "What the fuck are they doing there?" I ask myself. As I round the corner from Newport onto 16th I kill the siren and throw on my takedowns. "211 is on scene." I say as I come to a stop behind the soccer mom van. I slam the car in park and step out, slinging my rifle and turning my ballcap backwards. I also take a moment to put on my gloves.
  10. Pretty sure this song sums up the past 2-3 years of my life.
  11. "See this is why I don't go out and do anything with y'all. Kara and I just fuckin vibe in our little cabin, way the fuck out there and I get drunk alone. I don't have to fight a bunch of cops thinking that it will be beneficial for my career. I just get drunk and fuck my wife, besides awards are overrated." I say taking the last few bites of my bagel.
