We pull up and I hear the Acting Cpt's orders for the trash line. I exit the rig and pull the line past the fire. I call for water. "Engine 1 pump send the good stuff" Once the lines charged I open the nozzle and begin extinguishing.

I climb into my pants and toss my coat on. I open the backstep door and climb up. I put my seatbelt on and get ready to enjoy the ride

I walk into the duty room for my first shift back in a long time. I see one person inside and give a friendly nod. I take a seat and wait for further.
