  2. With things even further wrapping up I head back to 200 and get in the Silverado. "ERT, 200, show me clear" Starting up the Chevy engine I shift to drive and leave the scene.
  3. Still en route to the scene I sigh as I listen to the radio. Did not think I was that far out from the library but it sounds like everyone got their and dealt with all three suspects while I was en route. I'm quite close to the library now as I pass by ERT Headquarters on 1st Street North but by there won't be anything for me to do by the time I get there. 'Damn' Flipping off the lights and sirens I key up the radio. "ERT, 206, show me cancelling" A bit annoyed that I just had to cancel I turn north onto Lyon St and then minutes later I turn east on 2nd Street North to head to Oxnard; I've a pizza to order and pick up.
  4. With investigations and replacement deputies showing up I head on over to Allen and Jones who are seemingly standing around. 'Ok, we are just about wrapping this up for investigations to take over. You two can clear off of this call'
  5. As Valentine parks the ladder I mark us on scene and get out with the rest of the crew. "Ladder 1 on scene, preparing to vent the roof" 'Alright, lets get that ladder up' Moving with the others I help get the ladder ready to be moved. 'Valentine, move the ladder over the roof, Boorne you're first up.'
  6. As the rest of the crew gets in and we set off I finally mark us responding. Listening to Boorne talking to Valentine over the radio you'd think he was the acting officer here. It would almost bug me but I don't really care. 'Yeah, get that ladder up and ready as soon as we get there. I want to see holes in that roof faster than the Atlanta Falcons blows leads'
  7. "206, show me responding" Setting down the mic I flip on the lights and sirens as I head on over to the scene. Wonder if the librarian is telling them to be quiet. Wonder if they are fighting quietly.
  8. Hearing the tones go off I scarf down the hotdog I had just made for myself while I head down to the bay. Wondering how well I'll do in a hotdog eating contest as I finish my late lunch and gear up before climbing into the officer's seat of the ladder. With my crew still gearing up I look through the call notes on this structure fire. Guess we'll be venting today.
  9. Seeing two new deputies walk into my office and talk with each other 'Branagan you're in 203, Jones you're in 202'
  10. Hearing Wagner's summary I chime in when he is finished. 'In regards to the third suspect running. When I arrived he was heading right towards me with Barrillo in pursuit. It appeared he had a weapon tucked into his pants so I got out of 200 and pulled out my tazer. Told the suspect to stop three times and when I noticed he was going for the weapon in his pants I opted to deploy my tazers. The weapon he was going for was a Mac-10 that I have secured in the back of 200."
  11. As Barrillo takes the suspect back I put on my gloves and pick up the MAC-10. Ejecting the mag and clearing the chamber I bring it back to 200 where I pull out an evidence box to place the firearm in. With the MAC-10 secured and catalogued in the back of 200 I walk up to Wagner, Burke, and Russo to get the rundown of what exactly happened here.
  12. Nearing the scene I start seeing a runner being chased by one of our deputies heading towards me. It looks like he has a possible weapon tucked into the front of his pants as well. Shit. Stopping 200 quickly I hop out of the truck and pull out my tazer as I grab my radio. "200 on scene, have the runner heading towards me" As the runner and Barillo get closer I aim my tazer at the runner. "STOP RUNNING! STOP RUNNING OR YOU'RE GETTING TAZED!" The runner keeps running of course. "STOP RUNNING!" He still doesn't comply and so as he gets even closer I sigh. Now I can make out what's tucked in his pants. Looks to be a MAC-10. Luckily he hasn't pulled it out and used it yet. Maybe the mag is empty "STOP RUNNING!" As he gets within can't miss range he starts slowing down as he goes for the MAC-10 in his pants. Ah shit, got no choice now and so I deploy my tazer at him. "TAZER, TAZER, TAZER" As voltage goes through the runner I see him drop. Moving up to him I see the MAC-10 on the ground and use my foot to slide it away from him. 'Fucking hell' I say to myself as I look at Barillo to cuff him. 'Take him back to the scene and search him.' "ERT, 200, tazer deployed, send EMS"
  13. As soon as I hear the call go out I head down to 200 and get into the Silverado "200, show me responding" Starting up the truck I head out of the station and flip on my lights and sirens as make my way south to the scene. On my way I listen to all the updates on the radio up until the reports of shots fired from us. 'Oh fuck, what the fuck' "211, 200, I'm about 4 minutes out"
  14. ((2x Sheriffs, CORNER OF SOUTH SECOND AND EAST SIDE DRIVE, South Fort Shannon, Dispute With Armed Patron) "911, where's your emergency" "The Bada Bing! on the corner of South Second and East Side Drive in Fort Shannon, we need some cops here now" "What's your emergency?" "This guy trying to enter the club isn't leaving. He's been arguing with our bouncer for awhile now. We've been telling him he can't enter the strip club while armed but he won't hand over his pistol and he won't leave the premise either!" "and so far no one is hurt?" "No one is hurt but I fear that could change any moment" "Ok, stay on the line, I'm dispatching Sheriffs now"
  15. 'A supreme from Queen's, got it, right? ;)'
  16. While driving around on patrol I decide to park for a bit to write a text. 'Say, how about I drop by the station around 5 or 6 with some dinner for the 2 of us? Will call myself out of service on break, I'll bring a pizza. Dominos? Pizza Hut? Little Ceasars? local?'
  17. After enjoying my KFC lunch in the break room and doing some reports I head back out to do some more patrolling. Getting back in the driver's seat of 206 I turn the ignition, shift to drive, and navigate the vehicle back out onto the streets. "206, available on patrol"
  18. After getting back to the station and writing up my side of the report on the call we were just on I head back out to the lounge. Heading into the kitchen I make myself a bacon sandwich on toasted bread and take a seat in one of the lounge chairs. Turning on the TV I start flipping through the channels to find something to watch while I eat my sandwich.
  19. 'Alright, let's go' As Valentine starts driving us back to the station I mark us clear from the scene.
  20. 'Yeah, hurry it up' I respond to Boorne as he takes off seemingly as soon as he comes back. Then I hear Valentine's comments. 'We can leave as soon as Boorne comes back so let's just get into our seats and wait.' With that said I move back into the officer's seat
  21. Returning to the station for lunch after patrolling all morning I enter the break room and place the KFC I got for lunch on the table. Sitting down I open the box of chicken strips and fries. Slow shift so far for me as I've only run into a few traffic stops so far. Hopefully that luck continues as I pull the biscuit out of the box and take a bite into it.
  22. Seeing everyone out of the hole I turn to Valentine and Boorne. 'Good job, let's start packing so we can get out of here as soon as they let us.'
  23. As Valentine gets the ladder ready and in place I size up the scene and look down the hole. Seeing the impaled worker on the ground. Not seeing anyway down there I just wonder how he got down there to begin with. Did he fall before the stuff was dropped on him or what? 'Yeah, looks like repelling down from the ladder is the best way to do to get to him' Didn't really want to do it that way if it couldn't be helped but with no other way it's gotta be down. 'Valentine, ladder in position? Boorne, you ready?'
  24. 'Well it sounds like we're dealing with a guy who was impaled by something while in a hole. So unless a better plan comes up the current plan is get the ladder over the hole so you can drop in, do whatever medical you can do for him, and figure out how to get him out.'
