  1. *coming in late I rush into the station* ´Grimm reporting in!´I scream while im still in the hallway, rushing into the duty room. My flight from Germany was delayed, I visited my family and wanted to make it back in time of course, but a snow storm in stuttgart delayed the flight for nearly 1 1/2 days. ´Am I still in time?´I ask completly out of breath. ´Sorry for the delay´
  2. *Hearing some one arrive I turn around and see another deputy exiting his vehicle. I walk over to the group again after having seen nothing else then emptiness I’m the rooms.* ‘Hey. Nothing so far. Rooms seem empty.’
  3. *My moment of horror is broken up as I see the tarp in the corner of my eye. I snap out of it and look at Valentine.* ’Wha..What..I…Yes’ without having understood what Valentine said, I grab the tarp, drop the hose and cover up the firefighter. I return to the hose, pick it up and continue my walk around finding no hot spots anymore.
  4. ‘Alrighty sounds good to me.’ I say as I move closer to the windows and check for myself while still remaining in call distance to the others.
  5. *Having a charged line once again I quickly put out the smoldering in the compartment. I walk around the flipped truck to check for any smoke or glowing. As I pass by the front I see the possibly dead firefighter and stop right in place. I stare at him in shock. In a seconds it’s all gone. He had his whole life ahead and it’s just gone with a snap of a finger… it stand there and just look in disbelief as the blood is still slowly flowing from underneath the cab. Not fast though as it probably starts to harden already.*
  6. I pull up next to 204’s vehicle, key up my mic “205 on scene” then I hop out making my way to wagner. ‘Hey. Found anything so far?’
  7. As I heard „one fatality” my heart drops and my knees weaken. Fuck. A life gone just with a snap of a finger. I still see some thin smoke coming from one compartment in the back. I grab myself a halligan tool and open up 3 deformed compartments. The one holding the buzz saw I still smoldering. I grab the nozzle again ‘Cook some water please!’
  8. Hearing that waters coming I can feel the line getting charged. I move a bit closer and start spraying the fire. It’s rather gentle since I don’t know if there is anyone in the vicinity and I don’t want to drown them. It’s rather a small fire and is put out quiet quickly. I shut the nozzle again. ‘Fire out!’
  9. I just got my car ready and headed out of the lot as I hear the call. “ERT 205 show me responding”, I say the hang my mic back and start heading to the location.
  10. *Arriving on scene I hop out and watch in disbelief as I see the big puddle of blood and the soaked coat hanging there. My moment of shock I quickly interrupted as I here the words ‘Fire in the back!’ I quickly grab a line, connect it to the outlet, pop a nozzle on it and get in position* ’Line pulled! Im ready for water!’ *For a moment I don’t see the gruesome image*
  11. *Walking up to the door and knocking, I stand there still trying to catch my breath.´Great 2nd shift and I am too late` I think to myself*
  12. *I run into the station. I am way to late after a horrible night. I storm through the door as nearly everyone left* McMillan reporting in! *I say completly out of breath after running here after my car wouldnt start. Damn nobodys here. I will head to Blackburns office*
  13. *Ah the tones drop I run to the bay, jump in my pants and boots and just grab my coat and helmet. I hop in the truck. Hearing that one of our trucks is involved my heart drops. I don’t say a word for the duration of the drive as I’m busy thinking of what situation might be ahead*
  14. I hop out my truck and make my way into the station. I enter the duty room and swing myself on an empty seat. ‘Morning’
