Through a coalition with the Public Safety Academy, members of associated SC ERT Agencies are able to complete certain training courses as they become available here. These courses will cover an intro to the topic, essential skills, as well as RP ability for these certifications. Each certificate will come with a contact person and a written exam consisting of 10 Multiple choice questions and 3 Scenarios. These questions and scenarios are designed to gauge your level of training in the topic, as well as your ability to roleplay the certification. While the mark to pass is high, certificates will be designed with the ERT Roleplay in mind, as opposed to real world application. Select the course you're interested in. At the top of each course will list: Available Departments: To be eligible for this certificate, you must be a member of these departments. Prerequisite Certifications: To be eligible for this certificate, you must have these certificates already completed. Contact Person: This is the designated examiner who will mark your exams and who you must send your exam to. A PASSING mark is achieved when 9/10 or more multiple choice are correct, and each scenario has been subjectively graded as a PASS. Scenarios will be designed to test RP ability, ability to apply the certification, and ability to recognize limitations of the certificate.
