The majority of Shiloh County's hospitals are run by Crescent Falls University Healthcare system. There most recent acquisition is the Shiloh County Medical center in north river Fort Shannon.

 

 

 

SCMC or County is the flagship of the CFU healthcare system. Located in Northern Fort Shannon and affectionately known as "County" to Healthcare and emergency services workers, SCMC was established in 1857 as the Shiloh County Almshouse. The building was rebuilt at its current location in 1888 and had additions in 1926, 1954 and the latest one in 1983. SCMC is the level one trauma center for Shiloh county and several surrounding counties. In late 2019 SCMC was acquired by CFU Health

CFU Falls University Campus medical center is located in Crescent Falls, Originally the flagship of the CFU system prior to the acquisition of SCMC. Campus medical was established in 1914 where it was known as Crescent Falls University Medical center. The building was reconstructed in 1977 and an addition was added in 2006

Arcadia community hospital was opened in  2017 in Arcadia due to the demand for a hospital in Arcadia.

St Agatha's was established in 1876 and was rebuilt in 1963. The hospital sustained damage during the 1968 riots. In recent years with the crack and heroin epidemic and the AIDS crisis the hospital has made news as the humanitarian hospital despite ongoing financial issues and numerous health department investigations
