ERT-RPG 2 Posted October 9, 2021 Share Posted October 9, 2021 The SCSD is divided into 3 commands, each led by a chief deputy, and within each command is various divisions, sections and bureaus. All SCSD operations are based out of the stations located in Fort Shannon, Delmore and Oxnard. Generally speaking, each command is led by a Chief Deputy, each division by a Captain, each bureau by a Lieutenant and each section by a Sergeant. Where a group is led by a civilian, they will hold equivalent authority to their sworn counterparts over that group. This building serves at headquarters for the SCSD, as well as operational bases for Fort Shannon Detectives, Special Operations and Uniformed Divisions. The building is named after Stanley Brunner, who was killed during the Selkirk Cell Incident in February 2021. Specifically, the Evidence and Property Section, as well as Forensics are both based on this floor. Training offices are located on this floor as well. The SCSD Station 1 Gym is in the East wing of the basement, with holding cells located in the centre wing. Floorplan drawing for main floor The main floor of the building houses the uniformed division platoon room and detainee processing room in the West Wing of the station. Several offices are located on the perimeter of these rooms. The centre wing houses the washrooms, public reception and reporting rooms. On the rear of the building is a Sally Port, or a garage designed as a secure entry point for processing detainees. Vehicles can drive in, securely load and unload detainees and drive out afterwards. The East Wing houses access to the underground parking garage for sheriff units, K9 Section and Marine and Air Bureaus, the armory and Detectives workroom. Additionally the East wing provides access to the fence yard in use for SCSD Training. The West Wing houses the Chief Deputy offices, as well as public relations, civilian bureaus and the staff breakroom. The Centre wing houses washrooms, supervisor squad rooms, interview rooms, recruitment and professional standards division. The Sally Port is inaccessible from this level, however ceiling space extends to this level. The East Wing houses the Sheriff and Undersheriff offices, as well as the Special Operations Division. In this station is housed the Delmore Patrol Bureau, as well as the Delmore Detective Squads for Organized Crime as well as General Investigations. Following the merger, many redundancies were replaced, resulting in multiple vacant offices and unused floor space. On time of the Merger, Sheriff Wohl advised that the interior of the station will be renovated to ensure maximum use from this station. The Oxnard division houses a General Investigation Squad, as well as the Oxnard Patrol Division. Similar to Delmore PD, at the time of merger, Oxnard PD office vacancies left the need for additional renovations to ensure maximum use of floorspace in the station. ERT-RPG 2 Posted October 9, 2021 Author Share Posted October 9, 2021 ERT Wiki Main Page | Top of Page | SCSD Main Page Shiloh County Sheriff's Department Judicial Services Command Chief Deputy Andrew Dupont The SCSD Judicial Services Command is responsible for housing inmates of the Shiloh County Correctional Facility, including those on remand awaiting trial, as well as ensuring Court Safety, Security and Services are administered. The Command is led by Chief Deputy Andrew Dupont, working out of the Sheriff Stanley Brunner Headquarters Building in Fort Shannon. Within the Judicial Services Command, two distinct divisions are staffed. The Correctional Services Bureau is overseen by an officer ranked as Warden, with full sheriff law enforcement powers. Under their command is a staff of correctional deputies, serving with limited authority peace officer responsibilities. The Court Services Bureau is tasked with ensuring safety, security and administration of the Shiloh County Court System. This Bureau is led by a Captain with full sheriff law enforcement powers. Under their command is a variety of deputies, officers and agents with varying levels of authority from limited service peace officers to full service law enforcement officers responsible to ensure the operations of the courts. ERT-RPG 2 Posted October 9, 2021 Author Share Posted October 9, 2021 ERT Wiki Main Page | Top of Page | SCSD Main Page Shiloh County Sheriff's Department Correctional Services Bureau Warden Toni Taylor The SCSD Correctional Services Bureau is based in Essex, out of the Shiloh County Correctional Facility, located off Kelly Boulevard, Grid AA13. Deputies within the Correctional Services Bureau are responsible for the safe transport, housing and correction of inmates sentenced by the County Courts, or those on remand awaiting trial. Deputies within this division are responsible to take custody of detainees and inmates from law enforcement in the county, via direct pick up or drop off, as well as maintain County Court Lockup, the Correctional Facility, and a variety of probation and halfway houses located throughout the county.
