Shiloh County Chronicle Archive: February 24th, 1996 Robbery turned Double Teenage Homicide leaves community horrified

Oxnard, SA --- This morning the community mourns 2 teenagers shot and killed while working at the Stop N Go food store in bicentennial plaza. Bill Pivernick, 19 and Angelina D'Amato, 18 came in to work the overnight shift and were brutally killed in a robbery gone wrong. At approximately 11:45 Oxnard Police responded to a silent alarm activation at the Stop N Go in the Bicentennial Plaza, Several nearby residents also called 911 after hearing what they thought were gunshots. Fort Shannon Police Department 1845-1997

FSPD Early History The Fort shannon Police department was formed in 1845 as the town watch. As the city of Fort Shannon grew so did its police department. In 1907 the Detective bureau was formed and during prohibition the Bootleggers platoon was formed to prevent the smuggling of alcohol from neighboring canada.
