*I helped Noel grab the person's pack, dragging the poor lad out of the warm water and through the black smoke room. Through the hot room, it seemed like everything went mute. The radio and burning. The sirens outside were no longer heard. The thoughts in my head only shown me the entrance and visualized us both dragging the firefighter out, though pointless it may be. I did notice that there was no breath sounds bring heard.* 'Almost out, yeah?'

'You got it.' *The deeper we trudged through, the hotter it go. I had gone from duck walking to nearly getting on my knees. There was nothing but black surrounding Frank and I but we kept on getting through it until the heat became near unbearable. Thankfully it had sounded as if the pass device alarms began to sound much louder than normal. I searched around, calling out to Frank to see if he had found something. There were burned pieces of ceiling on the ground along with large pieces of machinery that had seemingly melted. It was as if this area burnt first and made its way back farther and farther.* 'Frank, how you doin?' *My flashlight was absolutely useless not illuminating anything more than a foot away. KVFR had obviously flowed water in here. I'm stepping in a damn puddle with every move. I heard that the ARFFs were arriving too. Good grief.* 'I think the guy is around here!'

*I Saw the chaotic seen before me, making less and less sense the longer I looked at it before we parked. The Mill was definitely on fire and I kept my mouth shut after hearing my orders. Listen and think before you speak. Words my father used to tell me that were now ingrained in my noggin. I had already visualized what I was going to do and now it was time to put it in action. I clipped my mask to my jacket then hopped off of the truck. I grab the irons from the compartment and follow Raven, walking by after seeing him do what I did not see nor hear him do to that Chief.* 'This is fine.' I say to myself. *Walking up to the burning Mill was definitely daunting but being with these guys, at least I can be assured that WE will be okay.*

*I nodded watching the Engine speed past us, honking their horn. They sure we're in a hurry to get there but I for one gotta say I'm glad that j don't live in this town.*

*The update didn't help me feel any better. 16 is on scene and the place is burning to the ground. I'm almost surprised it hasn't been down to the ground yet, really. I take a deep breath and think for a while about what I need to do. We will probably be assisting RIT so I'll grab Irons at the very least. J don't think a pike is going to be necessary this time but I don't know. We are finally making it closer to the street we need to get on. The sign that we passed said "You have entered Kimberly". The smell is far stronger now too.*

*I leaned forward after that hit and subsequent rumble. Roadkill now I guess but a part of me laughed thinking of the look of the blood splatter across the front of the truck shows the guys already on scene. 'We literally killed something to save your sorry asses'. I didn't smile but I did, in a weird way, feel just a tiny bit better.* 'Raven, where do you want me?' *I ask, hoping to somewhat break the silence.*

'Good, good.' *I have nothing much to say. Hopefully no more people get injured. It sounded like 16's boys could be trusted, although I've never met em at a fire before. Oh lord, why did these vollies have to be so jolly. I'm guessing they just got there so how did they get into that situation so fast? These thoughts ran through my brain all the while the smell of burning wood kept getting stronger. Well, that smell and Raven's cigar. I hate that smell.*

'Yup.' *I say curtly. My blood ran cold hearing the radio. I almost wanted to turn it off but every transmission made me more and more ready to get these asshats outta there.* 'Who's at 16 today?' *I bet the guys from 16 can get them out, at the least. I sat back in my seat and looked out the window. The smoke seemed so far away yet so close, as if the next exit was the one to get off on yet still wasn't quite close enough. I looked over at Raven, Garcia, and Noel then back out the window. Besides the muffled sirens, there was near silence.*

*In the middle of cleaning the poop, I hear the tones drop and the light above the Engine and Ladder and the Unit light up.* 'Oh cool a call.' *Thinking its something simple like a fire alarm, I walk over to my gear and start to casually put it on, until I hear the robolady say Structure.* 'Oh, this kinda call!' *I mutter to myself slipping into my pants. I turn around and grab my shit from the back of the Engine and throw it on the Ladder, grab the rail and pull myself in the seat behind the officer. My blood boiled with anticipation the moment I shut the door behind me. I took a peek at the MDT and saw a list of units from the county assigned to it. That's more than usual! With my jacket finally slipped on, I sit down in my seat slide the pack straps on my shoulders and sit back.* 'All good back here!' *I say watching Frank get in.*

*I walk out of the bathroom feeling oh so refreshed after a good S H I T and smell the very familiar scent of scat.* 'Alright....' *I walk through to the bay, and the screaming pair of medics that have just roared through the area and see traces of poopie on the floor. I sigh softly and grab the garden hose and simple green at the end of the bay* 'I'm not gonna ask...but...WHOEVER STEPPED IN THE SHIT, GIVE ME YOUR BOOTS SO I CAN CLEAN THEM PLEASE!' *I exclaim in a non-chalant tone, loud enough that it would make it to the lounge. Hopefully the raging man in that room could hear me clearly.*

*I finally return back from the hospital with RA-1, flip a u turn in front of the bay door and seamlessly back it in. I shut the door and step out, pulling my gear down, stepping out, and setting it next to the engine.* 'That took forever. Hey Karen.' *I turn and walk briskly to the bathroom not wanting to be rude but not having much of a choice but to get there fast. I should've just used the one in the Hospital!*

'Cap you mind if I drive the RA?' *I asked waiting for an answer in front of the garage door as the other guys transferred the patient over.*

'I'll be honest with ya. I have no clue.' *I watch as the boys are about to start getting this guy from under this car. Doesn't seem like he is saying as much as he used to. Moreso quiet now.*

'I was just thinking that haha. I'll be fine with it if they are. I'm not too sure on what his partner is doing but he looks kinda tired.' *Folds my arm and watches how everything is done.*
