Accepted into nursing after a bachelors degree in psychology, Diana became an RN at 24, and after three years of casual and on call work with Shiloh County Health, began her career change to law enforcement. With a BA and a BN under her belt, she joined the public safety academy and at age 28 became a deputy with the Shiloh County Sheriff's Department, landing a secure, full time job. Continuing education and licensing requirements, she maintains her RN certification with SCH and this has placed her in a unique position as a mental crisis intervention team member.
