*Finishing up some left over paperwork I hear 204 and 206 assign themselves to a threat call, I head out the car and get in and key up* "211 ERT Show me responding non emergent to this, is there any Officer Safety flags on this address or the name?" *Releasing the ptt on my mic I place it back in its holder and put the car in drive and pull out of the station and head towards Oxnard*

*Walking into the parade room and sitting down near the back room i put my coffee on the table and wait for roll call* 'Here'

*As Benji starts talking to the Patient i place the med bag down and start taking vitals Pulse is at 126, Resp 22, O2 96% and Bp 112/70* "Medic 1, this is Engine 1, we're getting ladder in position to lift the patient out, Engine crew is going to begin the trek down. Any obvious injuries? Ladder has ALS on the way down to you now." *Hearing Engine 1 ask for any Obvious Injuries i key up* "Medic 1 Engine 1, Patient is Complaining of Leg Pain Shes quite buried down here and we can't access the leg yet to asses damage, Can you relay to ALS Vitals are Pulse of 126 Resp at 22 breaths per minute O2 96% and Bp is 112 over 70 Patient is Conscious and breathing" *Releasing my PTT i turn back to the patient* 'Okay Ma'am are you allergic to any medications?' 'Uh Not that i know of' 'Okay Ma'am and whats your name? 'Susan Griffin' 'Okay Mrs Griffin, we have some firefighters on the way down to help us get you out of here, So shortly you'll be out and on your way to the hospital'

'I will get this served today. Do you need a receipt of service or anything like that?' 'No just serve it and call it a day' *Getting up out the chair i nod and leave the office and head out to the parking lot to head back to the fire station*

"Looks like she's gonna be on the river bank. Ten bucks says we won't even see her until we're on the other side of the trail." 'So as you know this is the largest law enforcement agency in the county. Since I am one of only a few IA investigators and this is a lot more routine than you would think, This happens a lot more than realize. Are you planning on filing charges?' *Hearing tones i run out to the truck and throw on my bunkers and hop up into the tiller cab getting my headset on as we get ready to pull out the bay*

*Pulling Into the driveway of the address i was given, I notice Hawke's vehicle, Placing my Car in Park i get out and get my daughter out heading up to the door i knock and enter* 'Hi guys'

So ask now, or forever hold your peace." *Listening to everything the Commissioner just told me i take a second to process before speaking* 'Commissioner, There is no excuse for what happened today in the moment what i did i thought was right, It was a very Chaotic scene and we had an armed Individual reversing a car at us i reacted as such, But now that i've had time to process and think about what happened you are correct i could've killed someone to day and i feel terrible for what i did, But at the same time I'll Be forever grateful for what you guys are doing to help me here and i'll do whatever i have to be a better deputy and to better serve the communities we took the oath to protect' *Taking a breath i continue* 'I'm more then okay with loosing SWAT and if you guys don't mind i would like to recommend Deputy John Allen, He was also at that shooting and was the first deputy to locate the vehicle and handled the stress and situation better then i've ever seen. but that is all i have to say Sir and again thank you guys for giving me a second chance i won't let you down this time'

*Walking into the ERT building, I walk up to the receptions desk and ask to Speak with commissioner burke, She points me to his office and i walk down the hallway making sure my suit is scared away, Arriving at his door i knock on it*

"Alright, Come on Dave, let's go pack up" "yea lets get out of here" *Grabbing the med bag zipping it up as Benny boy gets the lucas i grab the stretcher and walk out to the truck and place everything in the truck i walk around to the passenger side door and hop in keying up* "Medic 1 ERT we are clear off the card you can take us off of it" *releasing the PTT i place the mic back in the holder and wait for benny to get in*
