Lieutenant Andrew Blackburn's Office

[E. Richardson]

I walk up to the Lieutenant's door. Taking a deep breath, I make sure it's the right officer and then knock on the door. I'm not sure how to make a knock sound respectful in the ears of a supervisor, but I try anyway.

[A. Blackburn]

Hearing another knock on my door I look up from my work yet again.

'Enter'

[E. Richardson]

I take another breath and then put my hand on the doorknob and turn it. I push the door open and step inside, drawing up to my full height. The LT has probably seen it all before, but I'm all for trying to make a good impression.
 

'Hello, Lieutenant. I'm Deputy Richardson. I was told to report here.'

[A. Blackburn]

'Ah, yes, the new hire.  You'll be with Wentz in 214.  Just hold on and I'll call him up for you.'

Picking up the phone I dial the number assigned to 214 and tell Wentz to come to my office.  Upon hanging up I look back to Richardson.

'He'll be here soon.'

[E. Richardson]

'Thank you, Lieutenant,' I reply. I stand in the doorway, not sure what to say, or whether I should say anything at all, and decide to stay silent.

[P. Wentz]

'This the new guy Blackburn? Phil, good to meet you. Come with me. I don't like spending too much time in the office.'

[E. Richardson]

I turn as the Corporal walks in the door. After he speaks, I nod and turn to follow him. 'Thank you again, Lieutenant,' I say as we leave. I then say to the FTO, 'How are you, Phil?'

[E. Morris]

'Sorry I'm late, but I'm here'

[A. Blackburn]

'Morris, you're in 302'

[P. Rutland]

Coming in a bit late I report the LT my arrival.

'Rutland, here, sorry I'm late'

[A. Blackburn]

So many late people coming in today.  Of course I knew that because they all called ahead but still... do we need to get these deputies clocks? Let's just make this short because I need to get out on patrol.

'Rutland, take 252'

[P. Rutland]

'Yes sir'

Hearing my assignment I exit the Lieu's office to get ready for my shift.

[E. Koster]

*After arriving late due to having my car not being done at the shop till now, I head to Lt blackburn's office*

'Sorry for being late sir I was just now able to get my car back from the shop'

[A. Blackburn]

'Koster, take 207'

[E. Koster]

'Koster, take 207'

'Yes sir'

*heading out of the Lt's office i close the door behind me*

[E. Koster]

*Walking up to the Lieu's office i knock on the door carrying a pistol case in my off hand* 

[A. Blackburn]

'Enter'

[E. Koster]

'Enter'

*I open the door and walk through closing it behind me sitting my pistol case on his desk and turning it towards him*

'Good Afternoon sir i was wondering about getting my Personal firearm approved for on duty carry? Its a Sig Sauer P320-M18 with a under barrel flashlight on it'

*i reach down and open the case so he can look at it* 

[A. Blackburn]

'Alright, let see what we got here'

Making my remark as she opens the case to show it.  Picking the weapon up I inspect it and then run the serial numbers through the NCIC.  Seeing it come back clear I put it back in it's case.

'Good to go.  Anything else?'

[E. Koster]

'Good to go.  Anything else?'

'No Sir thank you for Approving it'

*closing the case i pick it up off the desk and turn around and leave the office closing the door behind me* 

[R. O'Reilly]

I head up to Blackburn's office and knock. I was late this morning. Car trouble. That was just what I needed after everything we'd been going through the past few months.

 

"I'm in, Lieu."

[A. Blackburn]

Seeing O'Reilly enter my office I get straight to it in order to not waste time.

'O'Reilly, you are in 201 this shift'

[A. Diaz]

*I'd knock on the door, waiting for a response*  

'Sir, may I come in? I apologize for being late.. I got a bit lost, since I'm still new to the town and all.'

[A. Blackburn]

Hearing a knock on my door I see a new deputy come in before I can even say to come in.  She apologizes for being late and I nod.

'It's alright but don't go making a habit of it.  Smith, right?  You're in 202 this shift.'

[D. McMillan]

I walk up to the door. *Blackburn… think that’s right* I think then count twice and await a response.
