Emily Jessica Vogel was born on January 28 1998, The Second child of Parents Janet and Hank who worked at the AC Delco plant. Hank as a Foreman on the assembly line, and Janet in Accounts Payable. Growing up a middle class life in Clinton until GM decided to close the plant in early 2009. Janet would find it easy to find work at a medical supply company in neighboring Delmore. Hank would not be as lucky, Struggling to find a livable job Hank fell into a depression and subsequently alcoholism, Which only hampered his ability to get a job and maintain it. During this time Emily grew closer to her father as her mother was often working her second job at Clinton towing as a dispatcher to attempt to maintain the middle class lifestyle. Her older brother Dan would also pick up odd jobs to help supplement the family income.
In 2012 Tragedy would strike the Vogel family when after years of heavy drinking Hank was found dead in the family garage with a bottle of whiskey and a bottle of prescription pain medication. This was a shock to the family as Hank had been hiding his addiction to pills. Using Hank's life insurance to pay off the mortgage on the family house Janet would become increasingly erratic and the family became more dysfunctional. Dan enlisted in the Navy to escape leaving Emily with Janet. Emily would look for ways to get out of the house, Often hanging out with friends and staying over at their houses and with no supervision going to parties, and engaging in reckless behavior. Emily would find herself doing poorly in school due to her unstable home life and party girl lifestyle. In 2016 at the risk of not graduating she managed to get her act together for the last few months of high school so she wouldn't be "just another white trash girl from Clinton".
After high school, she would float from service job to service job while still living at home. In 2018 she found a stable job at DineRite Diner in Clinton. In late 2019 After a one night stand with some guy passing through town, she found herself in a predicament that was averted with a "procedure". Slowly becoming the stereotype she desperately tried to avoid she was looking to avoid this white trash hell that had become her life. One day working a shift at the diner she struck up a conversation with a sheriffs deputy that had stopped in and who she thought was cute. During that conversation she learned how low the requirements to become a sheriffs deputy were so she took the test doing mediorce on the test she did not expect anything to come of it until late 2020 when her hiring process was started for the March 2021 Class
