Fire Assignments have been modified and are now as follows:

Engine 1 - Cpt Stone, FF Valentine, PFF Anderson, FF/PM Boorne

Ladder 1 - Acting Lt Noel, FF Wilson, FF Cook

Squad 1 - FF/PM Raven (Unit officer), FF/PM Pruett

*As I walk up to the Main Entrance, I look up the majestic facade. I just arrived in Shiloh County, 2 days after landing at JFK International. I traveled from Stuttgart, my Hometown in Germany to live in the USA. I´ve been here 4 years ago during a vacation in Los Angeles. It´s my first day of work. Well at least I have been told to report in at the Station. As I step inside I turn to the counter.*

'Hello. I´m Joshua Grimm. I was told to turn up today.'

'Hello. Yes welcome to our Station. Step trough the second door on the left and take a seat. Someone will take care of you shortly.'

'Perfect thank you very much.'

*I do as told and go through the door and take a seat, waiting for someone to pick me up... or introduce me to someone who gives me an introduction to the Station. I have never been this nervous before. I hope everything goes well.*

[J. Grimm]

*I am looking at my phone and someone talks to me and scares me for a second*

"Woah!"

'Oh sorry I was so into my phone I haven't seen you. I am Joshua Grimm. I'm a new Firefighter. Is it your first day too?', *I say as I shake her hand.*

[J. Grimm]

'Great. Where are you from?'

*I turn towards her so my back doesn't hurt when I only turn my head*

[M. Stone]

'Grimm, welcome to SCFD. Finish out this shift on Ladder 1.'

[J. Grimm]

‘Will do sir! Sorry gotta got. We talk later yeah?‘ *I say to Amanda as I stand up and make my way to the Bay Area. After asking 2 other firefighters where ladder 1 is I change into my gear and make my way to the center. Oh man I‘m so nervous my first shift in a real department. I arrive on scene and make contact with a woman there.....

[A. Breslin]

*Me and Logan arrive back at the station and after getting the email about the new hire I walk into the duty room.*

'Amanda Fritz?'

*The new blonde medic looks up, before she has a chance to say anything.*

'I'm Lt. Breslin, Were on M2 for the remainder of the shift, My partner is restocking.'

*I hear the tones drop for the next up medic unit.*

'Get your stuff, We just got a call.'

[J. Noel]

'Alright, I'm in. Let's get today going and pray to God Jim doesn't get stuck again.'

[L. Cook]

'Here'

[D. Valentine]

* another day another hopefully not shitty shift as i park my silverado and head inside stowing my gear and changing into uniform as i walk in with some dunkin for myself* ‘ hey guys’

[W. Anderson]

*I walk in the room and i see some people are already there* 

' im here' 

[J. Grimm]

*Fuck I can’t be late to my first real shift! I hurry downstairs and into the car. I Speed to the station while eating a sandwich and drinking a coffee I grabbed on my local gas station. As I arrive at the station I park my car and hurry inside looking a bit sleepy with messy hair which I correct as I walk in the duty room. I stand next to Miller*
‘Hi sorry if I’m a bit late. Grimm reporting in.‘

* i pull my truck into the lot  hoping its not gonna be a snowy mess parking and locking it i head inside throw my gear on a free bed and pull out a freshly cleaned uniform and head into the dutyroom  leaning against the wall curious whos in the new truck in the lot* ‘ hey y’all’

*While in the duty room i start to wonder if this sift is going to be a long shift i hope it is not*

[M. Stone]

*I walk into the duty room and head to the front, grabbing the print out and scanning it.*

[D. Wilson]

*I walk in with a couple boxes of donuts and a couple boxes of coffee from Dunkin. I set them on a table at the front.*

'Enjoy. Dispatcher union's treat after the Big Jim incident.'

*I take a seat among everyone else.*

*I walk in to the Duty room. Stone is over by the printer and I walk over to get my print out.*

'Morning'

*I say as I see we have one BLS and One half crew.*

'Jackson and Miller. M-22'

Erika you and me can take M-2. If anyone else shows up we can go from there

[T. Murdoch]

*I stroll into roll call, half-smoked cigarette in hand. I had been outside smoking when I realized I should probably walk inside and make sure someone knows I'm here.*

[M. Stone]

'Morning.'

*I turn to the crews and glance over them before speaking.*

'Everyone congratulate Anderson on the completion of her probationary period. She's now a full firefighter.'

*I look over to Anderson. Can’t wait until I finish probation, that’s what I always dreamed of: becoming a firefighter in the US well let’s see what this snowy messy weather got for us.*

‘Well I hope this weather isn’t gonna be too bad.‘ I say quietly.

*I park my car and walk in.*

 

'Morning Sorry I'm late. The route google told me to take was a bitch'
