Growing up peter karlssons life was filled with tragedy, orphaned at a young age after a brutal murder of his parents peter bounced from foster home to foster home,untill age 14 where a retired SCSD Detective and his wife wanting a child adopted him it was the first stable home the boy had known on the day of his 18th birthday tragedy would strike him again while assisting the sheriffs department with one final murder case at coincidently “Karlsson shipyards”peters familys long defunct family buisness his adoptive father recently retired Detective Paul Slattery was ambushed at the crime scene ,a retaliation murder as part of a hit by the brother of the man he had locked away for life in his final sworn case ,the act spurred peter to apply to the academy applying while in college,7 years later deputy karlsson upon taking the detectives test on a birthday bar bet was recently granted a slot with General Investigations one of the youngest patrolmen ever offered the rank of detective in SCSD history at 25 years old now a detective he hopes to carry his late adoptive fathers torch,and prevent another pearl basin kid from going through what he did he currentky resides with his adoptive mother in her pearl basin brownstone
